Characteristics of the notary’s practise and the notary firm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notaries are public officials established for receiving deeds and wills, giving them public trust, storing them, releasing copies, certificates and extracts.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This is how article 1, first paragraph, of Notarial Law (Law 16 February 1913 No. 89) defines the notary. However, the definition of notary given by Notarial Law is incomplete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notary is not only a public official, or rather an individual who the State confers a public role to as a result of passing an exam, but is also a self-employed professional, that is an individual who practises a profession with an independent organisation not as a public employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a public official, a notary is impartial, that is, the notary has to safeguard the parties in the equally and it has an important role in preventing suits, and assisting people and entities in the most important stages of their lives and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notary is a qualified legal expert in civil law, business law and tax law, in particular, in the branches of conveyancing, family law and succession law, company law, law of equity and trusts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a duty to forward taxes to the State, the notary collects charges and duties connected to the deeds (registration tax, mortgage and cadastrial charges, ecc.) and pays them into the state coffers, without any charges for this service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our firm distinguishes itself as a light organisation which guarantees the client of being able to interact directly with the notary without filters. The notary manages and coordinates his associates’ work from preliminary activity to the post execution fulfillments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
